They prepared an absolutely stunning meal. Delicious flavourful sauces along with high quality and tender chicken and lamb. The dessert the waiter recommended was also a delight. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Will come back often!! Thank you

My boyfriend and I have been to Ellie’s about 4/5 times now and every single time it is absolutely amazing! We’ve sat down for lunch, dinner even gotten take out and all have been flawless. We’ve tried multiple things and all have been exceptional dishes. Everything is packed with rich, savory flavor and being able to choose your spice level is an added bonus. If there’s a few things you have to get its the samosa chat, chicken tikka masala, and the biryani with goat! Scoop it all up with some roti or naan bread! Their cocktails are great too! Regarding the service, Heera and Riyaz are amazing servers but everyone that works there is so friendly and welcoming…it’s a very warm environment. I can’t recommend this place enough. We live on lbi and are willing to travel to Tom’s River for Ellies.

This restaurant located in Tom's river is one of the authentic Indian restaurants I recently visited. The parking situation was little challenging as street parking is available but limited or you can park a few blocks away near the tennis courts closer by school. There are also some paid parking lots closer by. The restaurant is located upstairs so you need to take elevator. They have ala carte and buffet options, but buffet is only available on specific days. As you enter the restaurant, the lobby area was well designed thoughtfully and very welcoming. As you enter the restaurant, the main dining area has nice vibrant colors all over the place and it is beautifully decorated. The staff greeted us and gave us a booth table alongside the windows where you can watch the downtown. The menu is great and we had good collection for both vegetarians and non vegetarians. We ordered appetizers as tandoori chicken, cauliflower 65, aloo tiki chaat. Then, for main course, we ordered garlic naan, egg fried rice and methi matar paneer. The food came at very good pace with the restaurant had five other tables occupied. Gobi 65 - it was more towards saucy than dry side like most of us would have

Absolutely fantastic experience. The flavors were rich, authentic, and perfectly balanced—every dish felt thoughtfully prepared with high-quality ingredients. The spices were vibrant without being overwhelming, and you can tell a lot of care went into each recipe. The service was warm and attentive, and the atmosphere made the entire meal even more enjoyable. From the appetizers to the desserts, everything was consistently excellent. Easily one of the best Indian dining experiences I’ve had—highly recommend for anyone looking for true, flavorful Indian cuisine.

Ellie’s Indian Curry Corner is absolutely incredible. Every dish we ordered was bursting with flavor and clearly made with care. The chicken biryani was perfectly spiced, fragrant, and generously portioned. The veg pakora was crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and seriously addictive. The garlic naan was warm, fluffy, and loaded with garlic—perfect for scooping up every last bite. The mango lassi was smooth, refreshing, and the perfect balance of sweet and creamy. And the jalebi churros were such a fun and delicious dessert — crispy, syrupy, and totally unforgettable. Hands down some of the best Indian food I’ve had. Can’t wait to come back and try more from the menu!
